Cartridge box of the Imperial Guard's mounted chasseurs. First Empire. Waxed leather case. Height 12 cm, width 20 cm. The flap is decorated in the center with a cast brass motif representing a hunting horn with an eagle at its center, surmounted by an imperial crown. Dimensions: 7.3 cm by 8.5 cm. Wooden mold pierced with 10 cartridge holes. Two leather tabs for closing the mold. White calfskin band with brass fittings, 5.8 cm wide. In good condition, see photos. France.
