Felt hat, 25 cm high at the front, 31 cm high at the back, and 8.5 cm high at the curve. It is trimmed at the front with gold braid and held in place by a gilt brass uniform button stamped with the number "47" sewn onto the hat. Large tricolor and silver braid cockade on the outside, then red and blue; 7.5 cm in diameter. The interior lining consists of a 5 cm high waxed black leather band and black silk trim. Dimensions: width 49.5 cm; height 37 cm; depth 14 cm. Small lens-shaped pompom for a bicorn hat with the number "6", 6th company. Good condition. France. First Empire.
