Description:
Radiant presentation in gilt paper filigree, polychrome background, relics arranged in lozenge-shaped cartouches, with original handwritten bands:
– S. Jo. Jos. a Cr.: Saint Joseph of the Cross (†1734), Discalced Carmelite, canonized in 1992.
– S. Ulrani: Saint Ulric (Ulricus), bishop (very likely difficult to identify).
The bone fragments are clearly visible.
Reverse side closed by a large red wax seal with episcopal coats of arms, original silk threads unbroken.
Dimensions: 8 cm x 6 cm.
Condition:
Complete, unopened, authentic and intact seal. Signs of wear and patina consistent with age, no bail.
In accordance with canon law (can. 1190 §1), this sale concerns only the reliquary as a sacred work of art. The relics it contains are not the subject of the transaction, but are included free of charge for their historical and cultural value.
