Description

This frame, remarkable for its size, finesse and elegance, houses a rare family photographic composition, surrounded by delicate silk flowers and pearls, all made by hand. The ivory silk background enhances the whole with refinement.This is a true Belgian family keepsake from the 19th century, centered on the Warzée line.
The frame contains six vintage oval photographic portraits (albumen or collodion prints), carefully arranged in a floral composition typical of mourning souvenirs or family tributes from the 19th century.A handwritten genealogical document (provided on the back) traces the descendants of the Warzée family and sheds valuable light on this piece, a rare historical testimony.
