Pair of Lunéville plates with a bird motif - Late 18th, Early 19th century. Polychrome plates with a large, fired glaze and eight lobes. Decorated with a bird holding a twig in its beak. It rests on a fence in a flowery setting. Grassy mound. The wings are decorated with three friezes and double commas. Good condition. One plate has a hairline crack and no repairs. The second has been repaired over two small chips (see last photos). Diameter 23 cm
