Unusually large krater with extensive depictions of Greek mythology. Light terracotta-colored ceramic with ebonized paint. Two projecting volute handles adorn the sides. The size of this krater is exceptionally rare, as is the composition of light colors with the extensive narrative depictions. Italy, probably Naples circa 1850
