Gilt and patinated bronze clock representing a cherub carrying a barrel Empire period early 19th century. The patinated bronze cherub is in a walking position, its wings come to rest on the barrel, its right arm bent forward and its closed fist allows to keep the key of the clock. Barrel in gilt bronze delicately chiseled with rings, enclosing the white enameled dial, indicating the hours in Arabic numerals, and the movement of the clock. The dial is encircled by a frieze of pearls and small finely chiseled palmettes. It ends with a rectangular base in gilt bronze decorated with a frieze of finely chiseled palmettes, resting on four small round feet. Period mechanism working with its key.
