Oil on canvas marouflaged on cardboard depicting a country concert in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. One of the men is seated in a Louis XV armchair, wearing a red frock coat, a hammered wig and red heels, a sign of distinction for the nobility at the time. Between the two men stands a young woman in a blue and white dress, playing the harp and seated on an armchair. Original canvas mounted on cardboard (slightly convex). Bearing a later signature Jules Bazin 1763 This painting is presented in a Regency XVIIIth century gilded wood frame with its original gold feullie gilding in fine condition. French school, late 17th c., early 19th c.
