18th-century polychrome carved oak console table, Transition period (Louis XV/Louis XVI).
The serpentine apron is delicately carved with green-lacquered garlands of aquatic flowers, suspended from ribbon-tied rings anchored to molded frames featuring bead-and-reel carving.
The bowed front features a central carved bow-knot motif.
It stands on four cabriole legs carved with a ribbon motif, terminating in substantial foliate elements joined by a stretcher surmounted by a flaming urn finial.
Polychromy in very good condition (previously re-lacquered).
Original "Bleu des Flandres" marble top in very good condition.
