Biedermeier secretaire, in mahogany with thuja root wood and green patinated surfaces, decorated with gilt bronze fittings. The flap of the desk features an architectural interior made using a transfer printing process, with the representation of a Gothic cathedral. The body is flanked by two thuja root wood columns with gilt bronze capitals and bases. The lower part consists of two doors, surmounted by a drawer under a flat, profiled cornice. The interior is equipped with six small maple drawers, each decorated with Indian ink-painted motifs depicting lyres and foliage. The central compartment, divided by ebonized columns with an arched frame, is mirrored on the back. The sides feature classical figurative scenes made using the transfer technique.
