Rare and superb bureau cylinder of Gustave SERRURIER-BOVY born in Liège 1858 - 1910, progressive artist, precursor of the modernist movement and design of the end of the 19th century. Architect, interior designer and furniture designer, he is one of the leading representatives of art nouveau on the European continent. This cylinder desk in light oak, outgoing tray has a central niche surrounded by shelves. 2 drawers at the top and 2 drawers under the tray. All brass fittings are original. Very nice patina.
