"Baroque Secretary, 18th Century"
Italian writing desk resting on console legs, with four drawers and a trapezoidal top with a sloping drop leaf. The walnut veneer contrasts with the panel-like frames and is decorated with a large star-shaped inlay on the front. Behind the drop leaf are four further small drawers. The writing desk has been carefully restored and hand-polished, retaining its original patina.
