French three-drawer chest of drawers in the Transitional style, combining elements of the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles. Crafted of walnut with lighter cherry inlays on the front. The chest rests on gently curved S-shaped legs, with an apron that slopes down the center. Fine gilt bronze mounts adorn the apron, front, and corners. A gray and white veined marble top completes the ensemble. Molded scalloped and medallion handles. Hand restored and polished.
