Elegant Art Deco pedestal table stamped "LAHALLE & LEVARD", dating from the 1930s. Pierre Lahalle (1877-1956) and Georges Levard, Parisian cabinetmakers and decorators, are known for their refined creations combining sober lines and delicate marquetry, characteristic of furniture from the Art Deco period. The circular top, with a diameter of 59 cm, features superb floral marquetry in light wood on a background of Macassar ebony, typical of the Art Deco taste. The contrasting colors and the symmetrical composition testify to high-quality cabinetmaking work. The top is surrounded by a light net and rests on a central fluted shaft with a curved tripod base.
