Elegant pair of carved cherry wood tub chairs, lacquered and gilded with gold leaf. The armchairs feature tapered legs, curved and fluted armrests, and an exquisitely decorated backrest. The upper section of the backrest features a garland of flowers painted in antique pink, while the lower section features gilded "metope" decorations, reminiscent of the classical style and adding further refinement. The armchairs also feature original upholstery. This pair of well-crafted armchairs will furnish any space with taste and refinement. Italian manufacture from the second half of the 19th century, in neoclassical style.
