Lock signed Maubeuge Manuf Rle, punch DB of Daniel Bouissavy (1st controller in Maubeuge from April 1808).
Breech tail marked M AN 13 in cursive. Barrel, left side, dated B (from Bouissavy) 1814.
Barrel, right side, stamped MR (Manufacture Royale), surmounted by the A of Inspector Alphand (inspector in Maubeuge from July 1814) and the M in an oval of the 2nd controller Claude Merley in post from January 1813.
Counter-lock, all the fittings, as well as the ramrod are marked with the stylized V and the crowned V of VERSADET Benoit, controller in Maubeuge from 1813 to 1815.
The grip strap also has the D surmounted by a cross of Delmotte Philippe, controller from from 1808 and the counter-plate screws the crowned D of Darcantel Nicolas reviser from 1808.
Counter-plate side stamp dated 1814 and including the letters MR for Manufacture Royale, DB of Daniel Bouissavy and A of the inspector Alphand.
The wood is also stamped with the B with the characteristic shield of Bouissavy.
This pistol is in exceptional condition, close to new.
