Charleville Year IX Pistol

Model An IX pistol from the Charleville factory.
Round body lock and espalet hammer, engraved "Manufre Nale de Charleville" and stamped with the F of Le Fevre. The inside of the lock is perfect. Left-sided barrel stamped P under the cross of the Prunier controller. Breech tail engraved M an 9.
All the fittings are stamped with the F of Le Fevre. The handle strap bears the serial number of the weapon: 5 . B . P . 5 . C . 12. The C corresponds to the company, the 12 to the number of the weapon in the company.
The stock is equipped with a ring: an addition made in accordance with regulations in the bodies. This ring allowed the weapon to be attached to the cast iron using a leather strap. The pistol could thus be thrown over the shoulder after firing, during loading, without the risk of losing it.
This pistol is in its original condition. All punches are consistent and compliant.
