"Surgical Scalpel"
Signed "RD | LE PRATICIEN | MODEL GARANTI | P[reve]té SGDG", circa 1900. Attractive case trimmed with satin and suede including a nickel-plated metal handle with an interchangeable system for attaching two scalpel blades.
Beautiful and clever object, in its original wooden case covered with black canvas which bears on the lid the interlaced letters "RD" or "DR" of a French manufacturer from the early 20th century, whose equipment is patented.
In good condition.
