Reliquary Library Of Saint Elizabeth – 19th Century

A sealed ex-ossibus relic of Saint Elizabeth rests in a glass-covered theca. On the back, prohibiting access to the relic, is an episcopal seal. Elizabeth of Hungary or Elizabeth of Thuringia, born in 1207 and died in 1231, was a sovereign of Thuringia and a member of the Third Order of Franciscans.
She was quickly canonized in 1235.
