The proud pose is very much in keeping with the royal or military imagery of this period. Note that the figurine wears a long curly wig typical of the late 17th century and early 18th century. The richly decorated outfit, with epaulettes and high boots. The high, raised cut probably indicates a ceremonial role as a tribute to the king.
