Made in the 1860s (first date of watchmaker restoration 1884, engraved on the balance) this spectacular Louis XIV style wall cartel seems straight out of a setting worthy of the "Blue Train". Wood and gilded stucco in good condition. (natural wear to the gilding). Movement in good working order signed Gardien in Paris. The dial signed Becherat in Chambéry.
