This sculpture "Lion with a Snake" or "Lion Slaying a Snake" is one of Bayre's best-known works. The original was created around 1832 and cast in bronze in various sizes. This is a high-quality reproduction in heavy bronze, probably made in Paris in the second half of the 20th century.
