Small round three-legged Biedermeier sewing table with drop-leaf, from South Germany around 1820.
Veneered and solid cherry wood, partly ebonized. Three legs with intermediate board and rung rail. Original brass fittings and iron lock. Interior with several subdivided compartments. Highly arched top plate. Star-shaped veneer on the top, some veneers replaced and ebonized circle inlay. Restored, hand-polished with shellac.
