Elegant pair of Biedermeier walnut shovel chairs from Austria circa 1820.
Walnut veneer and solid wood. Strongly curved backrest. Square tapered legs, straight at the front, curved at the back. Intermediate bar in round solid walnut baguette. Restored and polished by hand with shellac. The seat cushions are removable. We left the old black leather well preserved. On request, we can also reupholster it with a fabric of your choice.
