Large 18th Century Scent Box

Important marquetry box forming a scent kit also called a scent kit from the Louis X period, mid-18th century.
an important crystal and vermeil odor kit including:-
-its six crystal bottles complete with their original stoppers.
4 large round bottles and two smaller oblong bottles easy to carry on oneself.
-a funnel
-a tumbler on shower stand
-a gadrooned cup.
All placed in its original box in rosewood marquetry with a compass rose on the lid and veneered with rosewood on each side.
the interior has retained its original mirror and its compartmentalized space in the shape and decorated with an old pink fabric and gold braid.
In good general condition for the set.
the mirror is very slightly pitted.
a slight crack in the middle of the lid.
charming original lock and key.
the lock works.
finish es with a tampon varnish.
Work from the Louis XV period, mid-18th century.

a rather rare kit to find complete and in this state of conservation.
