Landscape Oil On Panel Diaz
We present this pretty little painting painted on an oak panel, representing a landscape with trees, signed lower left in its original frame Narcisse DIAZ de la PENA. He was born on August 21, 1807 in Bordeaux and died on November 18, 1875. Our painting is typical and after 1837 when DIAZ joined the Barbizon school where he particularly liked FONTAINEBLEAU and its surroundings. He was an admirer of Eugène DELACROIX. Our small oil on panel is incontestably by the hand of DIAZ. Shipping extra (E25)
