Oak Chest, Regency Period, Early 18th Century
Rectangular chest in solid oak, opening with a flap with two wide pegged boards. The front has three molded panels, including a central carved cartouche decoration adorned with a plant motif. Old lock fittings (lock missing). One side handle missing. Interior covered with a "Villandry" fabric from the Boussac house (later addition).
