Patinated bronze statuette representing a four-armed Hindu deity, typical of Khmer iconography inspired by the Angkorian period. The character is standing, dressed in a richly decorated loincloth, wearing a high conical diadem, and holding various ritual attributes: curved blade, animal object, offering. This work testifies to the Khmer artistic revival in the 19th century, a period of rediscovery of classical forms by Cambodian workshops. Very beautiful old patina, traces of wear consistent with age.
