Rare engraving "Eagle squeezing a hare" by Paul JOUVET Very beautiful engraving of an animal scene in the purest art-deco style with this eagle with the captivating head, that only Paul Jouve could magnify... everything is precision and strength... superb, I let you judge with these numerous photos... Engraving signed and numbered 2 COPIES, if this engraving was also published on paper, only 2 copies were published on parchment paper... I found traces of the other copy, which was sold in an auction room in 2011 for 1500 euros at the hammer, or nearly 2000 eurisq net buyer (see last photo), it was without a frame... Authenticity and period 1920-1930 guaranteed. I personally guarantee the authenticity of all my pieces, an unconditional return is accepted on this motif, it is quite normal with all the copies that are on sale... Very good condition, some slight spikes, but without any consequences...The proof has kept its original frame, we see on the back that this painting was bought for 12,000 francs in 1944!
