A set of 11 large liqueur glasses, colored by the Nancy crystal factory.
These pieces have become rare and highly sought after by collectors; this Nancy-based brand enjoyed great success in the 1920s, employing a large number of people in Nancy. These tall 16-cm glasses come in five colors: purple, olive green, orange, bright green, and raspberry.
These pieces embody the purest Art Deco style, featuring a stylized floral frieze entirely etched onto each glass.
Ten glasses are in perfect condition, and only one has a micro-chip on the rim (the green glass). Each piece is stamped on the base with “Cristal Nancy,” along with a Lorraine cross, circa 1925.
