Art Deco Spherical Vase, "jade" Series By Schneider, In Perfect Condition, Formerly Daum Gallé
Artist: Charles Schneider
Beautiful Art Deco jade glass vase by Charles Schneider.
A truly stunning example from the Art Deco period, featuring those lovely colors that only Schneider could master. A very elegant vase with its spherical shape resting on a highly graphic pedestal. Note especially the lovely colors with the orange and yellow speckles on the upper part, which could be reminiscent of the artist’s “marbrines” series—an imitation of the “pièce dure” technique. The base is a lovely raspberry color.
In perfect condition, 25 cm tall, 18 cm wide, with the usual signature on the base; well-documented, circa 1922–1924.
A beautiful Art Deco vase, original in both form and color.
