Pair Of Turned Brass Candlesticks, Italy, 17th–18th Century

Pair of solid turned brass candlesticks, of Italian manufacture, dating between the late 17th century and the early 18th century.
These two pieces feature alternating turned profiles and a trilobed base with claw feet. The shaft is elegantly shaped on a lathe, while the flatter base ensures excellent stability.
Total height: 39 cmMaximum base width: 15.5 cm
The original tip has been modified over time to allow for the insertion of electric fittings, as indicated by visible traces. Aside from this alteration, the candlesticks are in good overall condition, with a patina consistent with age and use.
