Superb large Batak powder or medicine horn, carved with floral motifs, a character at the bottom of the horn with his hands on his stomach, a large face on the top, a rider on the cap sitting on a mythological animal, a 2nd small character faces him. Wood and horn, mother-of-pearl eyes, finely braided caps. Very good general condition, beautiful old patina. Total length approximately 58 cm.
