Albert Pinot was trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (1890-1899). Founding member of the Le Sillon group, participated in the events of this circle. Exhibited at the Giroux gallery (Brussels) from 1912. A painter of realist tendencies, influenced by luminism, he practiced impressionist painting. Interest in watercolor. In clear harmonies and a light touch, he strives to translate the atmosphere of the North Sea and the beaches of the Belle Époque. Marked predilection for Ostend. During his stays in France, he painted the banks of the Oise and the Seine.
