Oval silver reliquary (tested) with the Child Jesus hand-painted on both sides dating from the 17th century.Description
Double-sided oval silver-plated reliquary, decorated with a molded border decoration.
Each side features a hand-painted miniature of the Child Jesus painted in a floral decoration.
Both compositions are surmounted by the monogram “IHS”, symbol of Christ.
Delicate and antique work, typical of 18th century popular piety objects, probably of Spanish origin.
Condition:
Good general condition, slight traces of oxidation, original glasses and images
