"Mons 1775, Solid Silver Coffee Pot From The Louis XVI Period, Claude Louis Foncez"
Majestic tripod coffee pot from the Louis XVI period but still very much in the Louis XV style. It is richly decorated on its twisted or fretted body. The fretel is in the shape of a bouquet of flowers. On the bottom of the coffee pot are the four hallmarks of the city of Mons AE and the tower of Mons, accompanied by the year 75 for 1775. The maker's mark which represents a crowned object is listed but so far not identified. It weighs a more than generous 970 grams
