Magnificent solid walnut armchair, Renaissance-inspired, dating from the end of the 19th century. The backrest uprights are adorned with finely carved zoomorphic heads, probably chimeras or fantastic lions, giving a unique and refined character to the piece. The armrests feature superb acanthus leaf decorations, testifying to high-quality cabinetmaking. The armchair was recently reupholstered by a professional upholsterer with a quality fabric, with a geometric decoration in orange tones, held together by a braid of upholstery nails. The whole is in excellent condition, ready to be installed and used without any expense. The base, turned and connected by an H-shaped spacer, ensures stability and elegance to this characterful armchair.
