Jean Vincent-Viry, born in Nancy in 1920 and died in Villers-lès-Nancy in 2011, is recognized as one of the regional painters most attached to his native land. Founder of the Association Artistique Villaroise, he is often nicknamed “the painter of light” for his lively and warm palette.
