Charming glazed earthenware candy box with hand-painted polychrome decoration, representing flowers, insects and butterflies in a naturalistic style. The lid, molded in relief, features a pink knotted ribbon surrounding the piece. Model attributed to Émile Gallé, made by the Saint-Clément earthenware factory, circa 1890-1910, Art Nouveau period. Marked "St Clément" on the reverse. Dimensions: diameter 17 cm - height 8.5 cm. Good general condition, slight wear from use. Protected shipping
