Gustave Asch (1856-1911). Active towards the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, Asch is particularly known for his "Tours blue", a dark blue enamel close to the famous "Sèvres blue". In his workshops in Tours, he made ceramic vases glazed in Tours blue, which he decorated with gold with delicate naturalist motifs.
