“Germania or the Allegory of Germany” model by Nikolaus Kannhäuser for Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel (amphora). Pair of polychrome enameled porcelain vases decorated with a face in profile in a plant setting, a design close to the creations of KLIMT, the model presented, “Germania or Allegory of Germany”, was created by Nikolaus kannhäuser, the maker's mark is stamped under the base "Turn-Teplitz Bohemia R.St K Made in Austria" with the printed oval mark and number "Amphora 2013 D" and the initials of the decorator in underglaze blue "FR" Bohemia, circa 1900. Please note: These models are extremely rare on the market, we are happy to have been able to bring this pair together with the model and thus present them to you. Condition report: These two vases are in very good overall condition, we will just point out a slight alteration of the gilding on one as well that an internal crack is located at the level of the rear lake decoration not visible from the outside.
