Shiva in the form of the warrior Khandoba, holding his sword in his right hand and a bowl containing bhang, his favorite drink, in his left. Beside him is his consort Mahalasa with the same attributes, considered one of the forms of Parvati. They are leaning against a glory depicting the protective Nagas.
