Beautiful Carved Corozo Nut Snuffbox, Cherub, Flowers, Fantastic Animal, 19th Century

Taking the form of a fantastic animal with its black eyes and red mouth, here is a very pretty snuffbox. In Corozo nut, hollowed out and entirely carved, it has a rich decoration. The lid, mounted on a brass hinge, is ornate with a partially openwork flower bowl. The edges are finely carved with leaves and flowers in light relief, and the bottom with a Cherub in high relief, geometric shapes in light relief. Very nice quality, beautiful fineness of details, genuine item with a great patina!
Used condition, the lid has a small hole and a micro chip on the edge, and the body, a crack in the nut. Everything is clearly mentioned in my detailed photos, please look at them carefully, I am not hiding anything!
Difficult to determine the exact origin, often a sailor's working, well born in its period, undoubtedly the beginning of the 19th century, Circa 1810-1840.
