Great French Bronze Candleholder, Dark Patina, Coiled Kirin Design, Japanese Inspiring

A very pretty small bronze candlestick that feels present in the hand. Constructed from four joined parts, it consists of a semi-cylindrical base supported by three legs shaped like masks. Wrapped around the shaft—which features several decorative round evolutions—is a Kirin, a mythological Japanese creature, a chimera that is a cross between a deer and a dragon, a symbol of good fortune as it is a messenger of peace and prosperity! The top of the candleholder and the tray itself form the other two elements, with the top of the candleholder serving as the final screw for assembling the entire piece. The entire piece is covered with a beautiful dark patina, looks like so Japanese! 
In good overall condition, with no major flaws. There is some wear on the dark patina and traces of wax still present. Please take a close look at my detailed photos—I’m not hiding anything!
