Flissa saber of the oldest type - Algeria, Kabylie, 19th century Flissa of the oldest type with a wide and short blade (see article Kabyle sabers by Camille Lacoste published in the Journal des Africanistes in 1958). Handle covered with plates of chiseled and embossed brass (some missing parts). Single-edged blade, engraved and inlaid with brass. Length 81cm Blade length 69cm
