Probably from the first half of the 19th or slightly earlier.
Horn handle and steel guard with remains of gold damascene. The silver-plated ring is disjointed.
European import single-edged blade and three gutters.
Engraved silver-plated sheet metal scabbard. Numerous dents to the metal, but the whole is solid, with no play.
