Decorative four-panel folding screen made of bamboo and rattan, dating to the 1950s. The design features heart and scroll motifs created by skillfully bending the rattan, a technique typical of mid-century tropical craftsmanship.
Each panel measures approximately 44.5 cm in width, for a total width of 190 cm. Height: 173 cm. When closed, the screen is about 13 cm thick.
One side showcases the decorative openwork in rattan within a bamboo frame. The reverse is covered with a light-colored, smooth fabric that acts as a visual barrier.
