A very fine solid silver cup by the renowned silversmith Jean Puiforcat.

The cup rests on a strong molded base, the body is plain silver, slightly flared at the rim.

It is numbered CG in a beautiful font typical of the period.

The cup is hallmarked:

Born in 1897, Jean Elisée Puiforcat took over the silversmith's house in 1920, revolutionizing its creations by producing pieces typical of the Art Deco style.
