Baccarat? Large Toilet Bottle In Crystal, Sterling Silver And St Louis XVI Vermeil. 19th Century

Superb and large crystal bottle mounted in solid silver dating from the end of the 19th century.

The body of the crystal bottle is circular with sides. The background is cut with a star pattern, a mark generally attributed to Baccarat.

The large frame is in solid silver in the Louis XVI style with laurel garlands and a guilloché background of wavelets strewn with dots.
The grip of the cap is particularly interesting because it is entirely covered in silver, forming a very massive frame.

The non-guilloché silver fillets are in vermeil.

The frame is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's mark: SS with scales for Simon Slisonski, active from 1888 to 1903

Superb bottle, very massive, with a magnificent, unusual Louis XVI style frame. The bottle is very heavy, of very good quality!

Very good state. Some shock on the edge of the body frame, small scratches from use.
