"Gilt Bronze Crest Clock - Empire Period "
Gilded bronze clock forming an escutcheon topped with four pine cones at the corners and an armillary sphere at the top. Paris movement with chiming of the hours and half-hours on a bell by chaperon. Enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, railway for the minutes with Arabic numerals every 15 minutes and gilded spangles every 5 minutes. Signed A.Lemoine in Paris, clockmaker listed under the Empire. Gilded and chiseled brass hands. Revised mechanism, complete with its pendulum and key.
